Our History
Melvin Tobias founded Research Specialists Incorporated (RSI) in 1971 with the intention to supply his customers
with the information and resources that they require. In the 39 years since then, RSI has provided quality reports
to some of the largest insurance companies and brokers in the world. Completing thousands of reports a month with
pin-point accuracy and a strong work ethic, RSI stands for integrity and honesty above all else. We strive to
provide our clients with the inspections they need at a cost that is fair to them.
In 1975, RSI became the first inspection company to completely computerize their data, and over the last 39
years RSI has continued to offer their customers the most advanced and efficient technology in the industry. It
is our goal to always be ahead of the technological curve in this field.
At RSI, we know that it is the relationships we sustain that keep us a step ahead. It is our main goal to keep
our customers happy. We will continue to adapt our company to the changing needs of our customers in the years to come.
